Lately I’ve been watching too many vintage movies, a vintage marathon to be precise. It is funny that sometimes when the movie was not vintage like: The Graduate, it would be definitely a film of the past such as: the Imitation Game or The Age of Adeline. I went from loving the vintage looks to obsessing over them, who would not obsess over Blake Lively wearing vintage? for there is something magical in those old feminine looks, be it the high level of elegance or the extra classic cuts that gives you an instant eye attention whenever you enter a crowded room.
The midi skirt is one of those classic cuts which I adore, when I decided to start adopting this item during dress up occasions, I took my research to a whole new level that I put together a whole scrap book full of Victoria Beckham and Kate Middleton midi skirt outfit. The featured looks were so classy it will make you gasp every time you flip a page. In this post I aimed to restyle their looks through adding hints of a something blue.
I was wearing: skirt from zara, shirt from HM, shoes from Ted Baker, DKNY clutch, jeweled statement necklace from turkey.
