Favorite Soups

What’s better than spending a snowy day on the sofa near the fireplace, wearing a comfy cardigan and sipping on a hot cup of your favorite soup? Well that is beautiful, especially when you prepare your soup yourself, it might sound hard and time consuming but it is completely not.

My favorite soup is the chicken curry with vegetables; I have been proudly making it since 2005, and it is still my all-time favorite.   Yet I am always up for new kinds of soups which contain quality items that are beneficial for health, and are easy to prepare as well.  So I listed several of my favorite soups that I find interesting to try and cook at home.

The Pumpkin Soup:

This recipe is by Jamie Oliver, it is very simple and easy to prepare. I love how much it is light and fresh, especially with the presence of the star of major freshness: Basil.

The Mushroom Soup:

Mushrooms are my ultimate favorite, so of course it will make it on the list of my favorite soups. Using several kinds of fresh mushrooms will enrich the different flavors, not to mention the extra creaminess of this soup which will give you warmth and happiness. (I love it)

The Miso Soup:

Fresh, light and comforting; those are the best feature of the Miso soup. It became on my favorite soups list when I first tried it at a Chinese restaurant, back then the waiter whispered me the recipe which was as simple as the soup itself. I love the fact that it contains tofu which is very nutritious and delicious at the same time.

Turkey, Kale and Brown Rice Soup:

Since we live in the era where Kale is the next best healthy thing, where we even have KALE t-shirts (referring to Beyoncé), we should try this recipe. I trust Giada De Laurentiis in such a recipe due to its bright colors, low calories, and healthy combinations.
